ISI stands for ‘Indian Standards Institute’ the former name of the BIS and is identified with unique license number with seven digits (CM/L -XXXXXX). Manufacturers have to acquire this ISI certification from India’s highest governing body i.e. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to sell specific products in India. ISI certification Mark on market products guarantees that manufacturing of the product has gone through the high-quality checks and follows regulation set by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

BEE- Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) grants STAR RATING of appliances depending upon their energy efficient design and performance. To provide consumers with informed choices on the standard of the products being sold in the Indian markets Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) was created under the Ministry of Power in Government of India. In 2010 Government made it mandatory for certain items (as follows) to have these special labels and ratings being assigned for their performance on the products to let customers take right choices they are going to buy.

The IEC System for Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components (IECEE) Certified Body (CB) Scheme is the world’s first international system for the mutual acceptance of product safety test reports and certificates for electrical and electronic equipment, devices and components. Based on the use of internationally-accepted product safety standards, the CB Scheme relies on a global network of CB testing laboratories (CBTLs), who are responsible for testing products to applicable technical standards. Product test results are then submitted to national certification bodies (NCBs) in CB Scheme member countries, who can authorise legal access to CBTL-tested products without additional testing.

Private Security Agency Licence (PSARA)
Private Security Agency Licence (PSARA)

According to the PSARA Act, the State Government can assign an officer, not beneath the position of a Joint Secretary in the Home Department of the State or a proportional officer to be the Controlling Authority for the state. The Controlling Authority is in charge of the issuance of the PSARA license (Security license), its re establishment and guideline of the activity of private security offices. In the wake of getting an application, the controlling Authority makes such a request as it might suspect essentially. A NOC will be issued from the concerned police specialists. When it is issued, controlling expert may either allow the PSARA license or rejects it for a reason.it takes around 60 days to finish the procedure. Each private security offices are required to initiate its exercises inside a half year of getting the PSARA license.
